Pilots in the Sequatchie Valley pull together to support the local library.

The Tennessee Tree Toppers and the Southern Para Pilots of the Sequatchie Valley have come together to benefit their local community.  This year, the Orena Humphrey Public Library (Whitwell, TN) has been selected to receive funds.

The Library offers a place for families and young people of the Valley a place to access information, check out books and media, and offers a safe and supportive environment.  Perhaps most importantly, the library serves as the primary internet resource for much of the community.

Through a fly-in fundraiser with a feast and raffle, plus a $1,000 grant from the Cloudbase Foundation, a total of $3,625 was raised for the Library!  Head Librarian Marilyn Fraiser wasted no time and DOUBLED the fund with a technology grant from the state.  Needless to say, new computers are on the way!
